💡 Eat the egg tart warm, at the shop. The coconut tart is the sleeper hit. Buy a box for the people at your hotel.

Chewy rice-flour skins pressed in tortoise-shell moulds and filled with peanut or mung bean. Warm, sticky and about a dollar.
💡 Peanut and salted bean are the favourites. They sell out by afternoon. Closed on Sundays, per the shop's listings.
6. Beach Road Scissor-Cut Curry Rice
