The Big Attractions
The headline acts. Touristy? Yes. Worth it? Also yes.
The ticketed heavy hitters and a few free landmarks: domes, decks, museums, wildlife parks and Sentosa. Most sell date-specific tickets online, so book before you show up. Pick by mood and by weather; half of these are gloriously air-conditioned.

A cool, dry greenhouse the size of a few football fields: baobabs, old olive trees and seasonal flower shows.

Daily 09:30–22:00 (last entry 21:30)

Daily 10:00–19:00; Fri till 21:00

12. Fort Canning Park
Nature · Civic District · Free · MRT Fort Canning (DT20)
Open 24 hours
A leafy hill of old gates, spice gardens and wartime bunkers. Also home to the famous tree tunnel photo.

Sight · Telok Ayer · Free · MRT Telok Ayer (DT18)
Daily 07:30–17:00 (last entry 16:45)

14. Sri Mariamman Temple
Sight · Chinatown · Free · MRT Chinatown (NE4/DT19)
Daily 07:00–12:00 & 18:00–21:00

Daily 08:30–19:00 (last entry 18:00)
The one paid corner of the Botanic Gardens, and worth it: slopes of orchids plus a chilly mountain house.

16. Singapore Zoo
Sight · Mandai · $$$ · MRT Khatib (NS14) + Mandai Khatib Shuttle
Daily 08:30–18:00 (last entry 17:00)
